On this site, farmers and farmland owners can create FREE, in-depth profiles that provide pertinent information about their farming dreams or farmland in Illinois. Farmers and farmland owners can then efficiently search through profiles to find potentially suitable matches for a land tenure arrangement – whether a lease, a sale, or something else – and connect for a conversation. If you created a profile on Illinois FarmLink in the past five months, our site was still under construction and you may have run into difficulties. You now have the capability to log-in, edit your profile, and submit it for review. Once submitted, one of our navigators will review it for clarity and reach out to you with further instruction. Illinois FarmLink is designed to connect and empower farmers and landowners. We aim to achieve this goal through three avenues: the online profile system highlighted above, free advising sessions, and education events that build the knowledge and skills of farmers and landowners. Over time, we also expect to have a full resource library on our site and to build partnerships around the state.
