Our friend Mike Downey at Next Generation Ag Advocates has asked us to share an unusual and large-scale farmland transition opportunity.
Mike’s client is seeking farm successors to transition into and take over a 2,000-acre regenerative farm operation in northwest Illinois. The farm consists of a row crop and livestock operation utilizing no-till, cover crops, and rotational grazing. The ideal candidates will have a passion for regenerative farming practices and strong work ethic. Farming experience would be valued but is not required. It may be possible, because of the size of the property, for the operation to be transitioned to two different families.
If you are interested, please reach out to Mike by email at downey@nextgenag.us.
